I am a design practitioner, teacher and leader. My work traverses a blend of user & customer experience, service design, brand strategy and management.

In my current role as Design Director at IBM iX, I bring together the best of IBM’s design talents to build lovable products, services and ecosystems for clients in ASEAN. My last two years have been hyper-focused on the public sector. I am relentless in thinking about ways to set people, teams and projects up for success, often in highly ambiguous and complex problem spaces.

Previously at Fjord, part of Accenture, I was hired into the pioneer team and led the visual design discipline for the Singapore studio.

While at Landor, I honed my craft and designed for various high profile branding projects in Asia.

On the side, I am an adjunct lecturer. Outside of work, I am interested in the intersection of design with any one of the following – personal finance, productivity, education, parenting and coffee. 

I see myself as a T-shaped individual leading teams of other T-shaped designers, technologists, and creatives. Not bound by medium or discipline, we envision future products and services to solve tomorrow's problems.

Service Design is a core skill that I've grown to love and hone in my time at Fjord. I flex between the various tools and methodologies as required to deliver on strategic design solutions for complex business problems. 

Product Design is an avenue through which I help define future digital experiences in an agile and iterative manner, sharing the joy of creation with other capable designers, technologists and developers.

Brand Design is my first love and the reason why I became a designer in the first place. I owe my sensitivity in storytelling to my time at Landor early on in my career. If you don't get goosebumps, it ain't a great presentation.
